    I infer that the implication is "that's rich coming from Elon/Tesla" because Elon is not honest and amplifies misinformation often? (not singling Elon out, he's one of many)

    The implication is that Elon is a massive hypocrite for complaining when these dishonest tactics are used against him because he uses them all the time.
