Show HN : Browse and copy hundreds of tiny ASCII creatures
A collection of quirky ASCII creatures you can copy in one click
- mockingloris 1y agoSay, your link requires gmail auth and I don't even know if I like it or no. Unsolicited advice: - Show a small subset (10 from the "...hundreds of tini ASCII creatures") for people to see. Then if user wants more, tell them to authenticate. - Gmail only? ... │ └── Dey well; Be well
- anigbrowl 1y ago> wants my email before showing me anything > hijacks my browser's Back button So far you're doing everything wrong
- fuzzfactor 1y agoYou can't actually fully "browse" unless there is no friction at all, especially not a sign-in. This is a page with nothing useful whatsoever, only a sign-in, the kind of thing that signals to old or new web surfers that they are not welcome. Seems to me if anybody could actually copy anything useful with one click it would be on a regular ordinary web page, not in a private repository.
