- PaulHoule 1y agoHere's the rookie mistake you're making. Hacker News differentiates between community members who post links from a variety of sources vs outsiders who never were interested in HN until they decided to promote their blog. It is OK to promote your blog but if you just want to promote your blog and never participate in the community your posts all start out [dead]. Be a community member instead.
