On the other hand, history is littered with car companies that left an indelible impact in the car industry and then went bankrupt.
- FirmwareBurner 1y agoYep. Just because you a have a good idea, doesn't mean you can turn it into a profitable business. The graveyard is full of companies that had good ideas. Cars are a low margin hardware business that's also a highly regulated one where mistakes are expensive. Tough to crack.
- philipallstar 1y agoIt's extremely difficult to spend loads of money on R&D without letting your competitors get most of the value of it for nothing.
