I have been promoting the use of the active front page to my tech-minded friends and acquaintances that use this site.

- duxup 1y agoOh very nice thank you.
- udkl 1y agoCan someone explain what 'active' stories are? It isn't described in the FAQ
- Tadpole9181 1y agoIIRC ranked on interactions instead of score, includes flagged.
- 93po 1y agoor just use https://hckrnews.com/ https://hckrnews.com/
- CaRDiaK 1y agohttps://hcker.news/ https://hcker.news/ is another good one.
- insane_dreamer 1y agoI have this as my bookmark. Haven't visited the front page for months.
- thiht 1y agoIsn’t /active the real front page?
- baubino 1y agoThank you for this. I had no idea. It’s like a completely different (i.e., better) hackernews.
- uncircle 1y agoAh, there’s where all the anti-AI posts went! I thought everybody on this site had drunk the kool aid, but it’s just any criticism doesn’t make the front page any more. Thanks, much appreciated.
