Linus Torvalds calls RISC-V code from Google engineer 'garbage'
- stockresearcher 1y ago"Sundar Pichai said over 30% of code at Google is now generated by AI."
- duxup 1y agoGotta wonder. I do run across code and sometimes think "Come on man, I can't imagine you even looked at this and really thought about it ..." Usually I mean that semi sarcastically, now maybe literally.
- chem83 1y agoNot that it should matter, but Palmer hasn't worked for Google since 2021.
- brucehoult 1y agoHuh. Rivos and now Meta. I hadn't picked that up.
- duxup 1y agoNot much info on what exactly was "garbage" about it other than talking about the timing of the request.
