This is my sense as well. I've long loved going to Vegas, but the last time I vacationed there was a little over 10 years ago. I haven't been back because the cost/benefit of it had become unfavorable even then. It also lost almost all of its charm, which has been replaced by some sterile corporate idea of what "charm" is.
