My question is why add an extra adjective when 'density' is sufficient? Does 'areal density' means 'stuff per area _per area_'? I.e. volmetric?

Does 'areal density' means 'stuff per area _per area_'? I.e. volmetric?
- IanCal 1y agoDensity doesn’t mean specifically per unit area though. In fact the default meaning without context to me would be volumetric.
