Was talking to an archeologist recently when touring a site of a big late bronze age settlement near Brno. There was a burial ground next to the fortified settlement on the hill as well, largely undisturbed for thousands of years, under regular fields used for agriculture. But deep plowing in the 50s and 60s, incorrect plowing gradients in the steep terrain resulted in 30-40 centimeters of fertile land lost to erosion in less than a century. And not just that, the ancient graves were lost woth it, all the pottery and remains churned to nothing.
