Not really, all major auto manufacturers in the US AFAIK have trackers in their vehicles nowadays.
- bityard 1y agoYou could remove "in the US" from that statement and it would still be true. Japanese and Korean brands are doing the same thing. EU countries might have tighter data privacy laws, but I'm willing to bet their car industries know how to work around those. (Which can likely be as simple as getting the customer to sign a waiver in order to buy the car.)
