Although I agree with him I will say this post was surprisingly vacuous. The key point though is a good one. Going from a baseline average of around 2% to 15% will impact trade more than going from 15% to 35% so the remaining threat that Trump believes he has isn’t as potent as he believes. It’s interesting how hard of a time people have had communicating this point. It makes sense if you’re used to curves but most people seem to think linearly.
