- Melonai 1y agoI feel like I kind of understand why they did it, it seems to come from a conference of some sort (Twitter doesn't want to show me the context) and conference videos tend to get buried on normal video sharing platforms. On Twitter you can get a wider audience by being incendiary, so perhaps it was just a way to get a wider reach... I still don't know why anyone would wanna watch anything longer than 10 seconds on Twitter though... :)
- tomaytotomato 1y agoBecause they're "digital artists"/"glitch artists" and the conventional formats for sharing knowledge are too boring for their ADHD and/or won't get them the same kudos as social media posts...

- burnt-resistor 1y agoEverything will be deep fakes soon, but even worse, the algos will have enough computing power to create deep fakes tailored to harassing just you and trying to change your views, most likely to sell you shit or vote a certain way.
