- gaoryrt 1y agoI’ve traveled to Xinjiang three times in the past five years — a beautiful and mysterious region. The term “genocide” feels somewhat ridiculous to me.

Mass internment for ethnic reasons alone, forced labour, sterilization of women, etc. historically have been used to significantly reduce specific populations in size, which appears to be the game plan of the Chinese government.
- gaoryrt 1y agoI believe people are more inclined to trust what they actually see, so I’d suggest you go there and see for yourself. For me Xinjiang is much safer than Gaza.
