- mna_ 1y agoI suppose if you're completely new to chess and don't know what to do at all then these might be helpful, but dogmatic chess is bad chess in the long run. Pure calculation and theoretical knowledge beats this list. The best thing to improve at chess is to do tactics training every day for at least 30 mins.

- mna_ 1y agoPlease start doing tactics training every day. Here are some good tactics books: Chess Tactics for Champions by Polgar Combinative Motifs by Blokh 5334 by Polgar Sorry for being harsh in my post. If you've been playing for 3 months, then you're already doing better than your peers by playing with principles. Good luck.
