Judging by this thread people aren't interested in any kind of serious discussion of the geopolitical reasons for this. They just want to make childish remarks about the "military-industrial complex" and spout tinfoil hat conspiracy theories.

- cholantesh 1y agoThere is exactly one remark about the military-industrial complex in this thread. It simply alludes to the historical fact that Eisenhower, who spent much of his adult life engaging with it, was wary of it. Why do you see this as childish?
