Of course it is an option - I lost 100 lbs this way, and kept it off more than 5 yeads. As you know, that's very, very hard. But I think these drugs are awesome. I have family members who are obese and don't seem to have whatever I have that allowed me to lose weight the old-fashioned way. I hope they'll be able to lose weight safety with the drugs.
