I spent a good chunk of yesterday watching 90%+ of inferred code get deleted. The other dev hadn't turned off their AI assistant and it constantly suggested irrelevant stuff. I've had that experience myself, turned it off a long time ago. And the dev was sort of following the suggestion flow instead of following the actual goal.
There's probably a use-case when you're building the kind of code it's been trained on. But refactoring and updating algos to account for the refactor was awful, worse than typing.
