What I Learnt from Being Disinherited
- duxup 1y ago> I leave my daughter Daisy out of the estate not because I love her any the less but because I think she has less need of it. Inheritance and estate planning are difficult things to manage. I think people should talk to their kids / people who will / will not inherit about it while they're alive if at all possible. It's not easy, but it should not be a surprise after a loss. The last act of these people's lives to those who they care about is something like that? This system where people only find out later seems barbaric.
