I think that limiting voting/ranking of things to a single scalar is extremely counterproductive. It's the forum version of First Past the Post, which ruins politics. Instead of a single score, there should be a wide variety of dimensions at play. A post might be insightful, or funny, or wrong, AI slop, spam, etc. Having a wide variety of tags or scales could be very useful.
