- SlowTao 1y agoIt doesn't help that nowadays you can have an LLM dump out a rough draft in a few minutes. The pessimistic take is that "Publish or Perish" will be the epitaph of modern science. That authoritarian populists can use this as anti-intellectual leverage is partially the fault of this thinking. They can highlight a real issue but fan the flames.
