I'm pretty sure it's common knowledge, I'm one of those annoying node haters and I've known about it for months now.
- cleverjake 14y agoSorry. This was posted for two reasons. 1 - I don't believe it is common knowledge. A lot of people know about it, but it is not quite reached the mainstream. 2 - They launched a new website.
- pooriaazimi 14y agoI didn't know about it. I'm sure I had never read about it anywhere, even on HN.
- cyborg 14y agoI'm an avid noder - and this is not common knowledge for me - but in fact great news!
- sp4rki 14y agoNot useful or common knowledge to you doesn't mean it's not useful or new for others. If you knew about it, and dislike it, what are you doing commenting here? If I had the same opinion I would have shrugged and told myself "Oh... grunt... again... Move along", not come in here to make a completely useless remark, which by the way obviously does not align with what the majority here thinks.
- richo 14y agoIt was intended as a legit question. With such a descriptive title as "Grunt.js" on the submission.. it was kinda hard to tell. Had it been "Grunt.js has a new website" I would have kept my fat mouth shut.
- mwill 14y agoBig node fan, hadn't seen this either. Side note, not criticising parent comment specifically, just thinking out loud: I still don't get why people question relevancy of submissions on sites like HN. Surely if its getting upvoted enough to hit the front page, the community finds value in it, right?
