Hard to figure out if this was due to Musk or poor quality causing the cars to start failing. Still making payments on mine and it's in the shop for electrical failures to the tune of $3k. I think Musk is a tool, but not as big of one as I am for buying this car to begin with.
- rsynnott 1y agoTesla's _always_ had fairly severe quality issues, but it didn't really seem to hurt brand loyalty for a long time.
- fuzzfactor 1y agoThat does beg the question, did product quality collapse as steeply and at the same time that he made his worst lapses in character judgment? Could be, or maybe his own character gained greater scrutiny in the process and didn't stand up.
