First thing the new Arab countries did when they gained independence after WWII was to kick out the Jews. It's an ideologically motivated fiction that Israeli's are all Zionist colonizers from Europe. 60% of them are refugees from middle eastern countries. And the majority of the rest are refugees from Europe. I find Middle Easterners and Europeans to have a lot of gall to ignore their contribution the mess.
