- cosmicgadget 1y agoBut if it was called 'lane assist' or 'adaptive cruise' he might not have bought the car in the first place.
- delecti 1y agoI agree. If Tesla was not allowed to give their product a misleading name, it probably would get fewer sales. That's the rationale behind false advertising laws.
- AlecSchueler 1y agoIndeed. So they called it autopilot and then this accident happened and that's the reality we're actually living in now.
- terminalshort 1y agoTypically you need better evidence than "perhaps" to walk out of court with millions.
- metabagel 1y agoI'm not an attorney, but I think typically juries operate on the "reasonable person" standard.
