I used to use terminator for a long time, but i've switched to tilix (https://gnunn1.github.io/tilix-web/ https://gnunn1.github.io/tilix-web/) with little pain.

  I'll check it out. Note: that Terminator I linked is a re-boot (I'll be back) so, I might give it another go as well.

  I was a huge tilix fan for ages, but ran into an issue with long URLs being unclickable.
