- sjsdaiuasgdia 1y agoa) Plenty of Americans use racist slurs regularly b) I don't think I'd want to use a website that chose to use such a challenge
- cubefox 1y ago> b) I don't think I'd want to use a website that chose to use such a challenge Understandable, but exactly what Puritans and LLMs would say to the naked lady challenge.
- GuinansEyebrows 1y agocan you explain what you mean by this? i'm not getting it.
- cubefox 1y agoOrdinary slurs may not be used, but the n-word may not even be mentioned [1]. Similar to the name of you-know-who in Harry Potter. 1: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Use%E2%80%93mention_distinction https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Use%E2%80%93mention_distinctio...
- GuinansEyebrows 1y agoBut… you did it. Twice. What consequences are you facing for this brave action?
- cubefox 1y agoI didn't directly mention the n-word (in the sense of quoting it). If I did mention it, my account could get restricted or otherwise punished. HN is operated by US Americans I believe.
