Doesn't modern AI make it clear that free will isn't necessary for intelligent, human-like behavior?

- haniehz 1y agoWatching LLMs mimic reasoning so well definitely makes you wonder how much of our own thinking is just pattern prediction with extra steps.
- incomingpain 1y agohttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markov_chain https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markov_chain It's not AI. It's Markov chains that essentially prove no free will. AI partially uses these but not significantly. So AI isnt what makes me question.
