If they said "successfully funded" that would be accurate. My pet peeve is that everywhere on the site they say "successful" they mean "funded".

- shardling 14y agoIf you look at a project, it will say "Funded! This project successfully raised its funding goal on MMMM DD." And again, saying just 'successful' is accurate, because a kickstarter is a fundraiser for a project that has independent life outside of that website. Some projects that take money through kickstarter will fail, but some that fail to raise money will find other funding sources and succeed.
