And why do we care about them specifically? Why is an executive special and needs to be pointed out?
- krapp 1y agoWe're a capitalist society and executives are capitalist nobility - their lives are by definition more valuable than others, and their deaths more noteworthy (in that, by capitalist principles, they generate more profit for the media.) Sort of like how on HN only certain notable people's deaths deserve a black banner, while most (even in tech) don't.
