Export passwords to another password manager on iPhone
- red369 1y agoI have only just found out about this feature introduced in iOS 18.2. It also allows exporting of bookmarks, history and the reading list. It might just be me, but I don't think Apple did much to bring attention to this. With being able to export passwords, and the addition of a standalone Passwords app on iOS 18, using Apple's built in password management might finally be a useable solution for iPhone users.
- red369 1y agoI have no idea when the import feature was added. It feels ironic that it's only now there is finally an export option that I am interested in the import button for the first time. But perhaps like the examples in the Alanis Morissette song, I think it's not irony at all. Without a way out, it really shouldn't matter to you if there is a way in.
