I wasn't. A fellow programmer bought the doomsday scenario and went full prepper on us. To stock up his underground bunker he bought thousands of dollars worth of MREs. After 2k came and went with nary a blip, he started bringing MREs for lunch every day. I tried one and liked it. Two years later when I moved on he was still eating them.

- offmycloud 1y agoI believe the MRE Orange Drink powder is fortified with Vitamin C, so that should help a bit.
