There's no objection, but it doesn't work because men compete while women collude. This has evolutionary origins. A man can, theoretically, father around a thousand children or more in the time it takes a woman to bear one. Sperm are cheap so those who need sperm (i.e. women) don't need to fight with each other. There's plenty to go around. Eggs are scarce so males of myriad species fight each other to the death over them. It's just biology.
