It does seem like hate is a common thing folks identify with now. When I'm on social media or elsewhere I often think "I want to know what you like, not hate..." I'm reminded of a car I was waiting at a light behind recently. It had a "You are loved" bumper sticker. It also had a whole series of stickers telling me what other people might do or say that the other driver doesn't like and a few promised violence if someone did them. It does seem like people without much else to identify with will choose hate. It does seem easier. Sad stuff.
