Bill Clinton made irreparable damage to the American workforce. He sold out America to move all manufacturing to China by giving massive incentives to companies to do so. The market boomed and all that money went to investors instead of workers.
- prasadjoglekar 1y agoWhile partially true in hindsight, letting China into the WTO, removing tariffs and giving them MFN status was a bipartisan effort beginning in the 80s and 90s. The premise was that China's market would open for US goods and services as well. It hasn't worked out like that for sure.
