- klntsky 1y agoYouTube premium is equivalent to uBlock Origin
- huhkerrf 1y agouBlock Origin doesn't offer YouTube Music
- bialetti1 1y agoPremium can't block shorts, auto-translate / auto dub, block channels, hide end-of-video cards.
- Larrikin 1y agoThere are Firefox extensions that do all of those things.
- mdavid626 1y agoWhy people always forget mobile?
- kqr 1y agoThey do not -- NewPipe exists.
- vinni2 1y agoWhat about Appletv and other tvs?
- nickthegreek 1y agoiSponsorBlock for AppleTV, SmartTube for other TVs.
- mdavid626 1y agoOnly on Android.
- daquisu 1y agoFirefox on mobile works with ublock. It can also play videos even with the screen locked, although you do have to unpause it after locking the screen.
- iansinnott 1y agoThat was my experience as well, but I pay for it. I think the family plan has great value if you have family members that wouldn't otherwise pay for it. Gifting others with less ads in their lives is a significant win.
- theshrike79 1y agoWith one fee I can disable all ads for my whole family from every single device we use. IMO worth it vs. having to figure out why some video isn't working. Or being forced to watch a shitty 2 minute interstitial ad when watching Youtube from my Apple TV.
- Raed667 1y agoCurious about GitKraken, I've tried it around ~2018 and couldn't see why i'd pay for it. I has nice "visualisations" but nothing that actually helped my workflow.
- Leynos 1y agoI mostly use it because it makes rebasing a branch painless compared with CLI or the GitHub web interface. I was also using it at work when I managed a team because it let me see how their branches sat in relation to `main`.
