Because Google/Motorola was refusing to license at reasonable cost H.264 patents to Microsoft despite them being required under FRAND obligations to do so.
- ajross 14y agoSigh, why must we go in circles on this? Yes, they're on that list too. There's plenty of bad faith to go around. But yet I still see X-Boxes in the stores. Again, that's parasitism -- Motorola/Google want a cut of the revenue, they aren't trying to kill the product. Parasites have no interest in killing their hosts. Apple wants Samsung (and Android) dead. That is worse.
