Odd this has rocketed down the HN ranking despite being new and having a decent number of upvotes and comments. As of this comment I found it at #185 but not [dead].
- speeder 1y agoThis happens when there is more comments than up votes. The algorithm consider it is a potential flamewar and punishes the thread.
- rtkwe 1y agoThat seems rather... blunt, they have downvotes that could more directly signify if a submission is engendering a lot of 'low quality' discussion.
