All my "permanent" scripts were transferred to Go a while ago with LLM assistance. They're the ones that just keep running in cron with zero modifications. Python is when I need to iterate fast and just edit crap on the go, most of those will also be migrated to Go after they stabilise - unless there's a library dependency that prevents it. `uv` is nice, but it's not "static binary that runs literally anywhere with no prerequisites" -nice
