Say what you will about JD Vance but he has passionately confronted the European elites on their surveillance overreach and clearly it's had an impact.
We may not like everything about the current American administration, but credit where due.

- Urahandystar 1y agoI didn't, but since he made his freedom of speech complaints, I've seen some utterly horrendous overreaches from the UK government that makes it clear as day he is correct. He may be a broken clock but he is striking right this time.

We had a summer of race riots and people were held accountable for inciting violence. Vance doesn't like that. Meanwhile his own government is deporting people for peaceful protest, cracking down on free speech at Universities, and banning journalists that it doesn't like.
