I'm in some sympathy with the OP's idea that skepticism can be a shield against criticism of one's own prejudices, but when calling out the prejudices of particular skeptics, he seems to rely a great deal on extrapolation. The OP's abandonment of skepticism does not seem to have turned him into a nice guy.
