An aside: Recently I learned that birds are reptiles. That hurt my brain and I’m still recovering. Especially since the modern dinosaur exhibit claiming this fact contradicted the 1980s era reptiles exhibit down the hall (both at the British museum).

- GuB-42 1y agoDinosaurs are birds. Birds are reptiles. Also, reptiles are technically fishes, and so are we, but we are not reptiles.
- im3w1l 1y agoI think I would make a color triangle, except I would remove blue from it, and instead have the corners be three different colors in the red-green part of the spectrum. I guess 530, 545, and 560nm.
- zahlman 1y agoDo tetrachromats have the same three "standard" cones plus a fourth? Or are they all shifted around?
