Unless you can't. What exact Ethernet card is embedded in your extensive brand port extension hub? No way to know unless someone knowledgeable disassembles it.
Valuable information doesn't just float around one google search array.
Product pages are too often the same kind of garbage like the reviews you've described, containing very little useful info
- asdff 1y agoIf you can't find information on the components used in the hardware stack, that is a strong signal it isn't a great hardware stack to use. Plenty of alternatives tell you the components involved. Chances are the aliexpress clone will be very frank with this, either directly in the listing or in communication with the seller. You have to remember that in the business 2 business market understanding capabilities is essential. in the consumer facing market this is sometimes dispensed with to not overwhelm the consumer, but this just a subset of the hardware market.
