- catlover76 1y agoGoogled a bit and it looks like they indeed did try to do so, but, again, didn't have the votes. The premise of your question is not in good faith though; why is it always the Dems who should be blamed for failing to fix things Republicans fuck up deliberately in the first place?
- snapetom 1y agoNeither is your response in good faith. Reconciliation is common practice and has happened for decades. Why are you now pointing it as a Democrat vs Republican issue?
