it may not be true, but the vibe to me is as if its almost some kind of elites' good-cop-bad-cop strategy with dems vs republicans...
- cogman10 1y agoBoth parties are serving the wealthy. That's what prevents Dems from serving the working class. They know not to advocate raising the minimum wage. It's what has created the behavior where Dems try to win over right wing independents because that's a more donor friendly position and Republicans can purely pander to their based, because they're already donor friendly (you know, for example, Republicans will always act to the benefit of big oil).
