In my experience, most normal utility users of crypto use USDT above all else. Surprisingly (to me), a lot of the usage is on Tron, too. Remittances are a really big deal, and the permissionless nature of blockchains means there’s basically zero barrier to entry for anyone. Sending BTC or ETH (fees aside) is just too much volatility for everyday users.
