I've always wondered how the interface between the titanium(or whatever the material is that connects to the bone and passes through the epidermis) post and the skin is done. How can that be made "air tight"? Does the skin bond to the post?
- privatelypublic 1y agoThats my understanding- that specially surfaced titanium will bond to skin. But its still a huge issue long term
