French PM looks to scrap two public holidays in bold bid to cut national debt
- jjgreen 1y agoOn arriving in France to start a new job, I was surprised to find that the French don't roll-over to Monday those bank holidays which land on the weekend. Some years it turns out that quite a few do, and that's know as une année du patron.
