Laid off Candy Crush staff set to be replaced by the AI tools they helped build
- oc1 1y agoMorale wasn't good, so they were given to train their replacement, that never complains. Show morale and you don't have to worry about being replaced by ai.
- suprjami 1y agoStop with the victim blaming. Capitalism doesn't care about the morale of any laid off worker.
- southernplaces7 1y agoThis is outright laughable. You're being sarcastic right? If you think better morale is going to save you from being chopped by a company with some harder new twist on improving its bottom line, you're in for a rude little surprise. I'll hope you're not one of those who actually believe the nonsense corporations spew when they say things like "we're a family here and we look out for our own". (They don't, unless "our own" means maintaining executive salaries and perks)
- pjmlp 1y agoYep, keep believing AI is only going to make code completion better on IDEs, and how greatly everyone will be more productive.
- ath3nd 1y agoIn all fairness, AI is not even good for autocompletion in IDEs...and recent studies showed that everyone is actually 19% less productive...so.
