So some VCs got rinsed for Google’s leftovers.

- fortysixpercent 1y agoVC's probably did fine. Their preferred shares get paid out on the dividend out of the Google 'license' fee. They might get some stock in Cognition as part of the acquisition of the remains of the company, but they've likely already been made whole and made a tidy profit on money invested in early rounds.
