It’s a bad cycle as lobbying spending will convince harder than people not being able to afford homes.
- davidw 1y agoThere was already money in preventing it. In a link I posted elsewhere about a hearing, the same people raised nearly $8,000 to try and stop one apartment building from going up in their neighborhood. Not private equity, not 'tHe ChINesE' (or whichever 'bad' foreigners are currently in vogue), but wealthy local NIMBYs.
